THE WEDDING PARTY JOURNAL (1)

So, I went  for a wedding over the weekend, and coupled with my "bridesmaiding" experience, I think it is safe to say that I have a few things to say. What good will knowledge have, if it is not shared and implemented, hence my writing this to you. 

While reading this piece, I want you to bear it in mind that I'm telling you trade secrets that only a few good people (like me) will tell you. I have been through a lot just to get these details across to you. So, do well to utilize this information.

The first thing you must understand is that, as a part of the wedding party,  you were strategically bestowed with that honor for a purpose- to make the whole ceremony look good. Being beautiful/handsome comes to play in this a lot  as pictures and videos taken during the whole process are meant to last the test of time (can't have people out there looking like gurkel), no offense. Anyways, back to my statement, it is your sole responsibility as an individual to ensure that you look great, make an "awemazing" impression (you never know where your gigs will come from) and do all that while having fun at the same time. 

To ensure that the above works as planned, here are a few things to take into consideration before saying 'yes' to being in the wedding party. These attributes are;

  • You MUST possess the ability to perceive the couple's heart desires.(because, how useful are you really if you cannot fulfil their deepest dreams???😣)
  • You MUST have the dance skills of Michael Jackson, Usher and P-squared combined (because, you weren't brought there for your charms and good look only😟) 
  • You MUST possess the ability to do 4 things at a time and the ability to do them while smiling (Lol you think being invited to a wedding is an excuse to lounge and meet the LOYL?? WRONG!!! Get to work, dear)
  •  You MUST be appropriately skilled in scrutinizing the guests and picking money from the ground (Break that back, hun!! There's money to be made😩)

9 JEFF Looking back and reminiscing on how I met Jess and how far we've come always gives me this warm feeling - joy, contentment, love?
