THE LIFE OF A BEARD

Hola!!

I know that you may think you are well versed in this topic, but by the time I am done with this piece, you will realize that you're probably not. 

So, let's start; what is a beard?  (you're probably wondering why I am asking such an obvious question yea?). You know the general definition, - the hair that grows on the jaw, chin, upper lip, lower lip, cheeks and neck of humans. Simple right? WRONG!!

I'll go ahead to define the other meaning of a beard. 

"a beard is a person who knowingly or unknowingly accompanies a homosexual person to conceal the person's sexual orientation OR make the person appear heterosexual."

It may be a little confusing but hear me out, it actually sort of makes sense when you consider it. Like, you know how beards help to  magnify a man's beauty OR whatever, this helps to minimize focus on  something. At the end of the day, they are both costumes and are either enunciating or hiding something.  You sha get my point. So, since being a beard is being the "costume" for a gay person, then having a beard is a sort of costume for guys.

Not a lot of people know about it but oh my God! It is such a thing and when I found out about it I thought to share because... I was almost a beard for someone! I didn't even realize it at that point but looking back, I now realize that it was such a close shave and I'm super glad that it didn't end in tears sha😅. (Story for my podcast maybe)

Dear brethren, kindly keep your eyes open o, before you'll go and catch feelings, in your mind you'll think that you've found the loyl only to find that you've been a beard all the while. This works both ways, so you can be a beard for either sex.

9 JEFF Looking back and reminiscing on how I met Jess and how far we've come always gives me this warm feeling - joy, contentment, love?
